Two founders of Pirate Bay have launched a new file-sharing site called Bayfiles. Bayfiles will respect copyrights. It is very similar to Rapidshare, Megaupload and YouSendit. The site allows users to upload their files and share the link where their file was stored for others to download it. There is not search functionality and therefore the user will have to publish his link so the others can find the file and download it. If you upload copyrighted material, the site will delete the files.
The service is free but with limitations. Unregistered users can upload files up to 250MB. If someone wants to be able to upload files up to 500MB, he can register to the paid service. For prices and details visit the site. In my opinion they could name it JAFSS (Just Another File-Sharing Site).
