Google’s $500 million settlement

Google settled with U.S Government to pay $500 millions for showing advertisements of illegal online pharmacies. This settlement reduces Google profits by 22%. Department of Justice started to investigate Google’s advertising practices after the appearance of illegal pharmacies in Google ads. Google tries to filter those and other illegal advertisements but ‘bad guys’ always find ways to overcome the obstacles. In my opinion they will always find ways to put their ads in Google and leverage their sales. Money is a good motivation.
