A planet 750 light years away from earth is darker than coal. This strange exoplanet reflects¬†less than one percent of the light falling on it. This planet has the name “TrES-2b” has the size of Jupiter.¬†TrES-2b is mostly gas and its surface is heated to over 1000 degrees Celsius causing the emission of infrared light.
