News from university of Surrey spread very fast when security researches achieved a 1Tbps wireless connection with 5G. 5G is the next generation of mobile communication technology and it looks very promising. It is faster, more cost-effective and more energy-efficient than the previous technologies. 5G is expected to be offered by 2020 which is 5 years from now and we can’t wait to use it. I know that we will not have 1Tbps connection in our smart phones but anyway we don’t have that even now with wired connections. Imagine being able to download 100 movies in 3 seconds wirelessly, this is the speed recorded by the 5GIC.
New theme wanted
The story goes like this, every couple of years I am getting tired of watching the same theme and I change it. This time I am looking for a new, lite and responsive theme. Please leave a comment with your recommendation and I will choose one of those to be the next theme of this website for the next 1-2 years. Previous time you were very helpful and I hope you will be again. Thank you in advance, the change will happen this weekend so hurry up!
Splinter Cell Blacklist Trainer
I just finished Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist. I have to admit that my favorite style is Panther. Ghost is all about letting them live and not harm anyone but I play the game because I like to kill AI! Assault is very messy and noisy so Panther is somewhere in the middle, kill but silently. Anyway, some of the missions were very difficult/time consuming so I used a trainer. I don’t feel bad because it didn’t spoil it for me and still enjoyed the game very much. I was using mostly the option to freeze enemies movement in some difficult missions where it was forcing me to play with ghost style. The trainer is very good and it is working on all versions from 1.0 to 1.0.3 without problems. The best part is that you can enable and disable the cheats with the press of a button. I used it, it helped me so I share it, as simple as that.
Assassin’s Creed Unity – How to pass Bellec fight
First of all I want to mention that I like Assassin’s Creed series very much. I was very disappointed when the crashes started, the plethora of glitches and bugs on every corner of the game made me mad. One of the most annoying bugs was that I couldn’t pass the Bellec fight. I was pressing E button like a madman with no result. This specific problem exists even after patch 4 and not only on PC but on multiple platforms. It seems that there is a bug and key strokes are not synced well. After several attempts I decided to search online for a solution, it took me a while but I finally did.
Dell accepts Bitcoin payments
Dell, one of the biggest companies in the PC market is now accepting Bitcoin, the most known crypto-currency in the world. This made possible after partnership with Coinbase. Any purchase from Dell’s website can use also Bitcoin as payment option. Dell wanted to give this flexibility to their customers. My guess is that in few years Bitcoin will be the first payment option in all online stores. After some drops to the price of Bitcoin which is predictable because more and more companies accept Bitcoin but they convert it immediately to dollars which drives the price down
Microsoft accepts Bitcoin
I delayed a month to post this. Microsoft started accepting Bitcoin payments to allow their customers to buy games, software and videos with the crypto-currency. After partnership with BitPay now Microsoft customers can add money to their Microsoft account . After that they can buy any digital goods Microsoft offers. That gives Microsoft customers another way to purchase what they want and Bitcoin owners another option to where to spend their coins.
Website statistics
Analytics is something you can see on a variety of websites but from time to time I get an email asking about the visitors of the site. In order to avoid some of them and make publicly available for everyone the origin of the visitors, I created a table from Google analytics. This table contains the countries and the percentage of the visitors from each of them for the last 30 days. The numbers change almost every month, few months ago France and Italy were higher in the list. I will post updates once per year in order to have somewhere historically the statistics.
Facts and Myths
I enjoy reading about strange facts but some times those facts are myths. For example recently I was reading some ‘mind blowing’ ‘facts’ and one of them was that elephants are the only mammal that can’t jump which is clearly untrue. There are several other mammals that can’t jump either. Hippos, rhinos and sloths are some of them. Elephants have at all times feet on the ground even when they run while hippos and rhinos don’t. They can have all four feet off the ground when they run.
Usher and the origin of OMG song
Homer Simpson sings a song on 2003 and Usher releases a song years later that sounds very similar. The following video plays both songs separately and at the same time so you can notice the similarities. Simpsons are known for their inventions and forecasts like touchscreen devices. I believe Usher or whoever wrote the song was watching Simpsons.
Far Cry 4 Cheats: GodMode and Unlimited Ammo without trainer
Far Cry 4 is released and I started playing about a week ago. I searched for cheats and I didn’t find anything, maybe I didn’t spent that much time searching. Usually, I use the cheats to make the game funnier, like letting everyone surround me and throw a grenade on my feet. This time I was tired of pressing buttons to prevent animals from eating me! While searching I remembered that there was a magical file in Far Cry 3 that you can edit and have godmode and unlimited info so I did the same and it worked.
