If you are reading this post it means that you are one of us that updated the flash and it stopped working on Firefox. It happened to me several times on different computers and uninstalling, reinstalling both Firefox and Flash player didn’t work, it was still not working. Everything is fine and suddenly, because you updated something now nothing is working, you can’t watch videos online, you can’t play flash games and you can’t visit a flash website. Firefox was, is and will be the web browser of my choice and Flash crashes will not change that.

If you are in the same situation that I was that means that you have real player installed on your machine. If you don’t have it then you have a different problem and you need to find another solution. If you do have real player then in few minutes you will be enjoying stream videos from your Firefox. Follow the below simple five steps.

Step 1: Open Real Player, if you are not sure if you have it its icon is a balloon with an ‘r’ inside. You can find it by searching it in start. Some of my friends are very new to technology, computers, windows and so on that I tend to make things simple stupid.

Step 2: Click on real player located in upper left corner and then choose Preferences… option.

Step 3: Select Download & Recording category from the left.

Step 4: Uncheck the Enable Web Download & Recording for these installed browsers and press OK.

Step 5: Restart your Firefox.

Try now… it is working and you are smiling. You are welcome! Keep using Firefox, all problems will be fixed and they will be just faded memories.
